If you can pardon the close-ups, it’s worth this walk down tiny toys memory lane from the 60’s and 70’s. These animal friends were a part of my collection from a very young age. I couldn’t believe how much they were selling for on eBay today! (in mint condition of course!)

When you can’t acquire everything associated to what you collect; specialize! For me, realizing I couldn’t possibly afford every little Beatle thing, I focused on collecting items from the movie “A Hard Day’s Night” one of my favorite periods in their history.
Live auctions are a very exciting environment. As an observer it can be fun seeing the competition for an item. Our current pandemic precautions though don’t favor this style of buying but you can still participate via phone, on-line or by proxy bidding. Check local auction houses in your area because you can get awesome deals this way.
Again during this time where we are social distancing and finding ways to slowly engage in person; the weekend collector’s shows may be sparse; but I hope they will once again become the frequent weekend events soon. In this video I share some of the facets of buying at shows.
